　　Modernization Scientificalness High quality Characteristics

　　Beijing Wenhui Middle School was fouded in 1997 putting through the pilot reform of the way schools were operated. On September 1st, 2008, it was changed into a public school. The school unswervingly adheres to the goal of modernization, scientificalness, high quality and characteristcs. All the staff in the school have agreed on the belief of doing their best and creating outstanding achievements.

　　The school searches for the appropriate mode of bringing up students with abilities that accords with the regular rules of the students’ development, and its own educational ideology and characteristics have come into being. It pays great attention to Chinese traditional moral education. It emphasizes the teaching principles of being responsible for all the students and their overall development by putting them in different levels. Colorful after-school activities and social practice activities are carried out, which aims at improving the students’ spirit and abilities of creativity.

　　The school integrates Chinese traditional moral education into school culture and structures its own characteristic cultural system, which enhances the efficiency of the overall performance. In March named Civility Month, students experience what etiquette means with their own good-mannered behavior. And in April, Month of Social Practice, students leave their footprints in Xibaipo, She County, Dabaotai Han Dynasty Tombs and so on. Next in May, Month of Artistic Display, versatile students show their art talents in different competitions including chorus and orchestra performances, calligraphy and painting exhibitions and creation shows. Then in June, Month of Idealism Education, famous Olympic athletes were invited to meet the junior 3 students and give speeches to encourage them to make greater efforts. Also a mass pledge ceremony was held 100 days right before the coming entrance examination to Senior High schools. Students are organized to take part in the social practice activity called Visiting Peking University and Tsinghua University for Aspirations. In September, Month of Sports , students from different classes compete in different sports events like small-scale Olympic Games, such as shooting a basket, rope skipping and so on, which further inspires their desires of winning for group honor. In October, Month of Science and Technology, there are great chances for the student as members of Beijing Jinpeng Scientific Group to show their inventions and creations. In November, Month of Reading, students share their valuable experience in reading with others, calling on more people to read more books calmly. In December, Month of English Festival, students perform their wonderful dramas on the stage that are a bright and beautiful part of the school culture to celebrate the coming New Year.
