  【设计意图】运用听音辩动物,介绍出本单元的6个小动物。让学生先从听觉和视觉上感知有所感知。

  T: OK! Now, let’s meet them one by one. Look!What`s this? It`s a lion. Let’s say hello to it.

  Learn the word: lion.

  Practice like this: lion, lion , it’s a lion.

  Fill in the blanks: l __ on.

  Learn the other five words: tiger, rabbit, whale , polar bear

  【设计意图】课件与图片同时出示6个小动物,示范介绍6个动物,然后逐个学习这6种动物名字。教师每次让学生示范跟读时都引入新句型:What`s this ? 进行提问,为下面学习新句型作铺垫,并引导学生用完整的句子如It’s a lion.来回答。

  T:Practice the drills using the cards

  What’s this? It’s a …

  Is this a…? Yes it is.\No, it isn’t.

  T: We’ve met the six animals. Do you like games? Let’s play games.

  Play the game:Fast eyes and say out the names to practice the new words.

  【设计意图】在课件中出示全部小动物,让学生进行总体的复习。用图片帮助学生理解单词意思,在操练时也让学生用上卡片 ,更形象生动。用Fast eyes Game and say out the names,通过游戏进行复习单词,让学生轻松地复习了刚学完的6个单词。

  Step 4 Reinforcement

  T: Let’s sing .Is this a dog? Then use the new words to make a new song following the model song and music.

  【设计意图】 用Chant的形式来进行操练,这样能避免学生出现容易犯错的句型:It’s dog.

  【设计意图】通过游戏活动巩固单词及其句型,巧妙地激发了学生的学习兴趣。在学生回答的过程中,训练了学生用英语思维的能力,也享受到了学习的乐趣。

  T: Pair work. Let the Ss talk about “Is this a…? He should use the short answers to answer. Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.

  B: Nice to meet you, too.
