  【教学过程】

  I. Teaching Procedures:

  Step One: Greetings

  Step Two: Warm-up

  1. Sing the song: The number song.

  2. Review the sentence patterns. Do questions and answers.

  ----What class are you in?

  ----I’m in ….

  ----Nice to meet you.

  ----Glad to meet you.

  3. Play a game: Listen and do.

  Step Three: Presentation

  1. Learn the new vocabulary, “thirteen”, “fourteen”, “three” and “four”.

  2. Learn the drills, “What’s your number?” and “I’m number ….”

  (Use the word cards.)

  (Write them on the blackboard.)

  3. Learn the dialogue.

  4. Learn the fun story.

  Step Four: Practice

  1. Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it.

  2. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups.

  3. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.

  4. Let’s play. (A competition among the students.)

  Count the numbers from 1 to 14.

  5. Make new word cards in groups.

  Step Five: Assessment

  Make the assessment individually, in groups and in chorus.

  【课后练习作业】

  VI.Homework:

  Must do: Copy and recite the new vocabulary.

  Read the dialogue and recite it.

  Choose to do: Prepare for the next lesson.

  Make innovation.

  Make up new dialogues in groups.
