  I. Teaching Procedures:

  Step One: Greetings

  Step Two: Warm-up

  1. Free talk.

  Step Three: Presentation

  1. Show the students the word card, “wake up”. Teach this phrase by using body language.

  2. T: What time is it?

  Ss: It’s ….

  T: Have some fruit.

  Ss: Thank you.

  T: What time is it?

  Ss: It’s ….

  T: Have some milk.

  Ss: Thank you.

  T: What’s the time?

  Ss: It’s ….

  T: Have some milk.

  Ss: Thank you.

  3. Learn the new words for 3 skills, “nineteen and twenty”.

  4. Learn the new words for 4 skills, “nine and ten”.

  (Use the word cards.)

  (Write them on the blackboard.)

  5. Learn the dialogue.

  Step Four: Practice

  1. Ask the students to listen to the tape recorder, and repeat after it.

  2. Let the students practice the dialogue in groups.

  3. Get the students to act out the dialogue in role.

  4. Let’s sing. Number Song.

  5. Make new word cards in groups.

  Step Five: Assessment

  Make the assessment individually, in groups and in chorus.

  Must do: Copy and recite the new vocabulary.

  Read the dialogue and recite it.

  Choose to do: Prepare for the next lesson.

  Make innovation.

  Make up new dialogues in groups.
